It can drive close to walls and avoid steps without falling. It also automatically raises the mop when driving on rugs or short-pile carpets. However, it did struggle in the presence of longer-pile carpets as well as several large, thick piles of dried-on debris.

The S1 Pro is ready to be used right from the moment you purchase it, and it just requires just a few minutes of mapping to discover your home.
