I've observed that any soft carpet the robot crosses will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, which could cause abrasions.

You can manage and set up these using the Roborock app which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor battery life. You'll need to go through a few steps to enable voice control on this model. This is a shame considering the performance otherwise.
