10 Unexpected Item Upgrade Tips
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an acquired item, such as armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item for another similar item and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of an item, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays on the space until the next success result is rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they're opened they show a complete description and icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop can trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that can increase the level of an item upgrader by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to get an advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. There are a variety of methods to get the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is accomplished by the combination of an item upgrader mod with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process continues until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component requires an amount of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left is where players can add equipment that needs to be upgraded, and the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. When players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of an item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. Once a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will have discounts.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to give an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements

Once an upgrade component has been added to an object it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the item's statistics.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", however increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve an exact roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item level upgrade, the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. These include the item type (either weapon or armor) and the tier of that item as well as the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will add an item in your inventory after you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close you are to finishing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
