Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide

Item upgrading is a key component to maximizing your gearing potential. It allows you to add bonus stats and bonuses in addition to your base level item's value.

Each upgrade template comes with an array of options that can be changed by using the edition GUI. These options include the upgrade reference and the chance to upgrade.

Upgrade components

The method of upgrading weapons, armor, and other gear in Cyberpunk 2077 has been revamped as part of the 2.0 update. Upgrade components are available throughout Night City, and the item you wish to upgrade must have an upgrade slot. When you select an item to upgrade it will show an image of what the expected stats will be following upgrading, along with the component or material required. If you don't have the required level of component or resource to upgrade an item, then the button will say "Blocked."

The items that can be upgraded include weapons and armor, a few trinkets, and gathering tools. Upgrade slots can be filled on each item, granting bonus effects or attributes when the equipment is utilized. These upgrades are available through crafting, purchased from a vendor, or taken from the loot.

There are two types of upgrade components that are universal upgrades and gems. Universal upgrades which are like gemstones, can be put in any type of equipment and provide a smaller bonus than other types of upgrade components. These are easy to obtain by dropping them by enemies and looted all over the world. Gems however are gained by disassembling items or by completing certain tasks.

Upgrades can be taken out and replaced with new ones in the weapon's slot. However, this will destroy any previous upgrades. Other upgrades, with the exception for glyphs that are placed in gathering tools, cannot be removed from an item after they are placed. Infusions can be put into legendary and advanced equipment. Enrichments can only be recovered by using a high-end salvaging kit or upgrade extractor.

Recycled items

In the two recent world wars, the scarcity of natural resources pushed the world to adopt recycling. Recycling items like aluminum or plastic, as well as paper is a common practice. They get a new lease on life. Recycling reduces energy consumption and helps prevent carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere. It is also a great method to reduce the need for landfills and preserve natural resources. However, it is crucial to know what materials can be recycled and what can't.

One common error that people make is placing things that are not appropriate in the recycling bin. These items not only harm recycling equipment, but also end up in the stream. To avoid this, read the label and follow the guidelines of your recycling program. For instance, cardboard should not be mixed with steel or tin cans, and tissue needs to be put in the garbage. Plastic bags also get caught in recycling machines and should be disposed of at a grocery store for reuse. Containers for food and berries are also items which can be recycled. Glass is the only exception, since it can be used to build with.

When shopping for new items, it's important to look for the label "Made with recycled content." This means that the item contains reclaimed materials from other products that have fulfilled their intended use. This makes them more environmentally green than new products made from virgin materials. Additionally, these materials are considerably less expensive than the original ones.

You can reuse your old computer phone, tablet, or computer by taking it to a recycling center. They'll use the materials to create new electronics and other useful products. You may even earn cash from these companies by donating the old ones.

If you want recycling for your coworkers to be easier, standardize the colors of the bins as well as the signage at your workplace. This will help reduce confusion and increase participation rates. It is also recommended to create an area in your office to recycle for example, a central bin or a box located in the breakroom.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens give you a second chance of rolling the dice to gain better stats or cooler powers. They are available in the mistery box as a rare drop from skulled creatures or killed bosses. Each token removes an attribute point from damage and rolls it randomly into an attribute that is different. You can also use the token to roll the additional attributes on an item, like regeneration or speed.

The extras on an item increase with each level, but the amount they boost differs. The value of the extra is calculated as a percent of the total stats for the item. Rerolling a token could alter this value. The value of recycling also increases when it is upgraded. Generally, the value of an item's main stat will increase by 3 with each level, while the value of its other stats will fluctuate.

To roll an item upgrades again it is possible to click the dice icon next to the item you have in your inventory. You can also hit the button on another player's lobby, and then select "Reroll". After rerolling the item, it will disappear from your collection.

You can purchase rerolls and other in-game items from Sagbe, an in-game Token Shop trader. You can also earn free rerolls by redeeming active codes in Fire Force Online. These codes can be used to obtain various items that include Reroll Tokens and Clan Reroll Tokens.

These rerolls are useful in the early stages of the game, when you need to build your inventory and dungeon gear. However, they're not the Best item upgrade way to improve your character's stats. Instead, you should concentrate on increasing your skill points. You can also earn bonus points by completing event tiers.

You can also roll your character's race by using a race-reroll token which can be purchased through the Zen Market. This token can be redeemed by certain pack purchases, or through the Token Shop. It allows you to change your character's race once. It can also be obtained as a reward when you complete Meg's cases during the Port Sarim invasion event.

Leveling

The stats of an item upgrader kit and its Power Level will rise when you level up an item as part of an upgrade process. However it can also increase the cost of upgrades and requires an amount of materials to complete the process. The type of material required depends on the item. Weapons, for example, make use of a combination of Destruction Stones (DS) and Guardian Stones. Armor makes use of Harmony Leapstones and Shards. The addition of additional materials can increase the likelihood of success, but it's not a guaranteed outcome.

The leveling process is calculated using formulas that determine how much damage and magic attack (magic weapons) and defense an upgraded item will get at the next upgrade level. The formulas vary based on the type of weapon used and rarity. There is also a maximum level per kind of weapon.

The NPC will display an Upgrade option when the item level upgrade has reached its maximum level. This enables players to upgrade the item to the next level by combining it with experience. To make the most of this process, it is important that players ensure their gear has reached its maximum level before upgrading. This way, they'll save time and money which could have been spent on other upgrades.

When the upgrade is in process while the upgrade is taking place, the NPC will display a window containing two lines. The first line displays how many Tech Points will be gained by upgrading the item, while the second shows an image of the item's new appearance. The preview won't be exact for items that have modifications, but it can still give an idea of what you can expect.

The NPC will also show the cost of upgrading the item. The cost of Technology Points will be included in the event that they are applicable. If you have an Accelerator, it will show its cost. Accelerators can be purchased on the Exchange and can increase the amount of Tech Points gained by an upgrade by 50 percent. However this bonus doesn't affect the item's Quality Chance which is reset when the item upgrader reaches its target level.

The Upgrade NPC also offers the option of transferring gear. This will allow players to save the experience and upgrade progress from an item of gear and then transfer it to a new item in the same slot. This is helpful for those who want to change their gear, but do not have enough money to purchase a new set.
