Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.
For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item such as a weapon, armor or ring. This replaces the Best item upgrade with another item of the same type however with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original item's level, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on the equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can roll their equipment using three categories three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power increases the damage that weapons and melee attacks while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To make them, you need an upgrade level reroll token. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next success result is rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that can increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements are met, the player can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the Item Upgrader Kit. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to get an advantage in combat without putting stress on their accounts. Moreover players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are several ways to obtain the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally players can also cut down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It's done by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an Best item upgrade has been attained.
Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left one is where players can add equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get the perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
When you select an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the tier of the item, the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory when you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how close you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
