Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.

For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item such as a weapon, armor or ring. This replaces the Best item upgrade with another item of the same type however with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original item's level, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on the equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.

The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to get an advantage in combat without putting stress on their accounts. For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are several ways to obtain the stones. Leveling

The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an Best item upgrade has been attained.

Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.

A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.

When you select an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the tier of the item, the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will place an item in your inventory when you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how close you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
