5 Must-Know Item Upgrade Practices For 2024
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased item like armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced with another of the same kind and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests, or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on an item that could include increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next Success is to be rerolled. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.
In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.

Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item upgrades to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.

The system is an excellent choice for those who want to gain an advantage in combat, but don't want to spend a lot of money. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto the new gear.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire", on the other hand, increases weapon damage.
Some items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
