How To Recognize The Item Upgrade That s Right For You
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, like armor, weapon, or ring. This swaps the current item upgrading for one of the same type and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.
Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of the equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by melee and weapons and spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item upgrader kit to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to produce it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's shop can trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that increase the value of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. They can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the durability of the item. This makes it an excellent method for players to get an advantage in combat without straining their accounts. Furthermore players can transfer experience and advancement of an upgraded item onto a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for new players. However, there are many methods to obtain them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item is reached.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at the same time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a certain amount of items to be used in addition to a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place items to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear will look like at its next level. Once players have enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of an item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to the track will be offered at a discount.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This gives them more effects or an improved quality of the item. These upgrades can be gotten from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the item's statistics.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For example, increases base defense and gives an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire", however increases damage to weapons.
Some items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats, but more because it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
When you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. These include the item upgrading type (either weapon or armor), the tier of that item, the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
If you've fulfilled the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to show how close to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
