It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system, which lifts the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate hardwood, carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means that you can set it and forget it, and only need to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I used it on its normal mop and vac settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and return to its base for a recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only downside is that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features make it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can afford the cost we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its price is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well throughout the home. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and managed to lift hair that was long without tangling. The mops also performed well and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as the powerful cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its advanced docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dust bin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dry the mop pads for you. It also features a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its smart controls.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I've tested, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's many premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station needs to be emptied and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to note that the mop pads which are purchased separately, must be replaced periodically too.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. For those who are on a budget, I suggest considering an easier model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best automatic vacuum vacuum and robotic mop you could purchase, its high cost and frequent maintenance will make it seem more an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that will pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors, while cleaning up wet mess take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo is a mighty suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. And it is equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It even has a roller mop that cleans itself as it moves this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-cleaning to clean the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes, or swept away into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements, and is poured into a larger storage container. The onboard tank holds a decent amount of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

As with most robotic vacuums and mop sets like the S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to the dock. However, if you do select this option you'll have to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot vacuums with mop brands that permit users to use their own cleaner of choice.

As with most robots, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with longer piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides many functions at a an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, and it still has some amazing features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a large portion of a space before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of removing debris and pet hair on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is complex, and offers many options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and clean of everything that the device maps, or you can select specific rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've created. There are a number of mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the area.

Like all Roborock models we've evaluated, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat way. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like thick carpets but may not be able identify smaller objects like electrical wires or rug tassels.

This machine has one major flaw: it does not include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up", at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you use the mopping feature of the vacuum to eliminate the last remnants of dust and debris left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice feature and helps the robot clean up a little bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
