Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.
For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired Best item upgrade like an armor, weapon, or rings. This replaces the item with an identical Best item upgrader however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade items equipment. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item of equipment for example, increasing its damage.
Players can reroll their equipment into three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.
There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To create them, you require an upgrade level reroll token. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the space until the next Success result is repeated. This allows you to not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
During the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This affects which blueprints the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item upgrader by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, he can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the Best item upgrader a boost in the area. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Requirements

Certain items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats and more for the fact that it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an open window that displays the requirements required for that item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing it. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
