Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and PvE Damage.

Components

Upgrade components are only available to devices that have slots. The item must be at least upgraded to blue before the component can be used. Infusions and enrichments are a particular kind of upgrade component that is used for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment as well as the back items that are not ascending.
